1993:
Started racing cadet karts unofficially, winning all novice races.

1994:
Cadet race victories at East of England Kart club, including the Champion of Champions Trophy. Also the youngest driver of any age or class to gain the most points in a season

1995:
Champion, East of England Kart Championships and Strubby Championships

1996:
Gained official RAC race license
Won all Novice races
Qualified 9th out of over 40 karts on debut, starting amongst older drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Paul Di Resta, Mike Conway and Alex Lloyd

1997:
Won numerous races throughout the season in the Cadet class Trent Valley, Fulbeck and Kimboulton Championships

1998:
13th in the British Championship, winning club races at Kimboulton, Trent Valley Kart Club and Fulbeck

1999:
Champion, Fulbeck and Trent Valley Kart Club Winter Championships
Champion, TV Masters - Cadet
7th, British Championship

2000:
Won first three rounds of the British Championship
Winner of the Ron Dennis McLaren Mercedes Young Driver of Achievement award
3rd, British Championship
3rd, Super One Championship

2001:
Moved up to JICA
Formula Junior Intercontinental A karts
Champion, British 'O' Plate Championship despite only contesting a part-season

2002:
Vice-Champion, British JICA
6th, Margutti Trophy, Italy.
Youngest driver to test in Formula Renault 2.0
Tested T Car and gained race license
Winner, Trent Valley Championships
Winner, Tony Hanley Memorial Award

2003:
4th, Formula Renault 1600 Belgium
Paston Racing
•    4 wins, 6 podiums, 1 pole position
•    At 15 years and 12 days, remains youngest Briton ever to win a single seater race
•    Finished 1st and 3rd on car racing debut despite no testing   

2004:
13th, Formula Renault 2.0 UK Winter Series

2006:

•    Won Formula Renault 3.5 prize test at Paul Ricard, finishing 8th out of 29 drivers, all with previous championship experience
